Image Dance Studio

Image Dance Studio is a local Dance Studio that offers dance programs for all ages. We drew the inspiration for the design from the many photographs we were allowed to use. The black background of most of them, in conjuction with the bright colours of the flags the dancers were holding, made us move towards a dark background for the website with some bright contrasting colours. This way, the dancers appear to dance in the website.

Chaltrek

Chaltrek is a Thunder Bay outdoor store. This long-time client outgrew the former website that Blue Snow Imaging had created and decided to no longer print a paper catalogue as soon as she saw how beautiful her products looked on her new website. This way potential and long-term clients will always have access to the latest products and most current prices. At the same time, Chaltrek saved printing costs.

Ravenswatch Miniature Schnauzers

This informative website features a lot of photography by Blue Snow Imaging and showcases the Miniature Schnauzer breed in a way that makes you consider getting one yourself. Blue Snow Imaging is putting itself on the map when it comes to animal portraits.

Breukhaven Labradors

This dog breeder in the rural Thunder Bay area wanted to have a classy web presence. Breukhaven so far mostly finds new clients through advertising in the local newspaper, but this website will put her beautiful dogs in reach of Labrador Retriever enthusiasts all over the world. The website features a lot of photography by Blue Snow Imaging, and attractive looking pedigrees.

Thunder Bay Federation of Agriculture

The Thunder Bay Federation of Agriculture is an active group of farmers who educate the public about agriculture in general and local farming activities in particular. They had some ideas about the kind of information that was needed on the site but couldn't completely imagine whether that would be effective and easy to read. Blue Snow Imaging put their knowledge about education to work and created a fresh looking site with modern colours and many small boxes that makes the page look like an inviting magazine. This way even the statistics look appealing!

Rotary Bollenrit

Another Dutch client for Blue Snow Imaging. This Rotary Club is organizing a car rally and needed a website to promote the tour, the charity it is supporting and to display the sponsors. More importantly, it needed a registration form to collect all the important information from participants. The design incorporates the types of cars that can take part, the Dutch flag and the tulip fields the participants will visit. At the same time, the green shades give the website a natural feel.

River Bend Farm

This local farm wanted to have a website but didn't have a clear idea where to start. Blue Snow Imaging was able to offer suggestions and to inspire the client to a point where no more help was neeeded.
Many high quality images were incorporated in the top collage and in a slide presentation to show off the different aspects of the farm. The natural colours compliment the content.

Thunder Bay Agricultural Research Station

The Research Station needed a website to explain who they are and display their research. The design needed to be simple but effective while incoporating their logo and using natural colours.
Blue Snow Imaging came up with a design with many smaller and bigger squares and rectangles that create a layered effect.

Thunder Bay Christian School

This project was well prepared by the client and needed to be finished based on a tight deadline. Blue Snow Imaging was able to produce this website well within the given timeframe and to make it look the way the client had envisioned it. This website will be mainly updated by the school staff and boasts a photo gallery and a calendar of events.

Fine Function Woodworks

Fine Function Woodworks is a small business tucked away on a country road but able to produce wonderful carpentry. The owner needed the website to promote his business and showcase his work to potential clients. Blue Snow Imaging enhanced their logo and created a website that gives a quality look and portrays craftsmanship. The photogallery consists of bigger than average thumbnails so viewing them is easy. However, if needed each image is clickable and a bigger version will be displayed.

Len Hagendoorn

This website shows of the work of Len Hagendoorn: a very talented sister of one of our clients. Len lives in Austria and works in Hungary and has ties with many other countries so her website needed to feature 5 languages without becoming hard to navigate. Blue Snow Imaging found an elegant way for people to find their way around, no matter their nationality.
The site features her artwork throughout the site, making it pleasing to the eye. A gallery features her artwork that is currently for sale.
The site is set up so it can be updated by the client.

Northlake

A successful businessman in the Netherlands is using his extensive skills to help other businesses succeed. He wanted a website that would explain how he can help businesses grow to reach their full potential. The website needed to build trust, have a serious look-and-feel, while at the same giving the impression that this great source of knowledge is easy to access. This was partly achieved by the overal design that incorporates a smart selection of pictures, words and colours. Blue Snow Imaging didn't only design the website but also assisted with editing and translation of the text and on request made it possible for the business owner to do most edits and updates himself. The Northlake logo was developed by Blue Snow Imaging as well.

PKN "de Korenaar"

Blue Snow Imaging has created another Dutch website using e-mail only! A church called "The Korenaar" in the western province of South Holland wanted to create a website that they could maintain themselves and would support their close-knit church community. Blue Snow Imaging created a website that breaths the atmosphere of a European church, without feeling old-fashioned or boring. This in not only achieved with the interesting but solid colour scheme and fonts, it is also done by using colourful and self explanatory buttons that give access to schedules and organizational information.

Hymers Fall Fair

The Hymers Fall Fair is a very popular fair for everybody in the area of Thunder Bay and surrounding townships and for everyone who has ever lived there. It is the place were people display their best looking goat and biggest pumpkin, where friends and neighbours meet and have a great time in a setting that hasn't changed much in the last 90 years. The website has elements that shows off the true atmosphere of the fair. Not only are the colours reflecting the colour of red barns, autumn leaves and pumpkins, the font is truly classic. The pictures at the top give you cross section of the activities during the fair and give the site a festive feel.

Coby de Oude

Coby de Oude (yes, family...) runs a home-based art studio in the Netherlands. However, she sells internationally regularly and wanted to extend the reach of her portfolio to a world-wide public.
We created a website for her totally based on her paintings so the website was basically a work of art in itself. Even the background of the navigation features a detail from her work.

Thunder Bay Feeds/ Double D Tack

Thunder Bay Feeds and Double D Tack shop are two stores located in Murillo, Ontario that work closely together but offer goods that are quite different. To tie them together, a home page was created with navigation to both stores, leading into two web sites that have a slightly different look and feel. Lots of orginal photography makes this web site pleasing to the eye and fun to browse.
The column on the home page features some special products and the "Boot of the Month" which gives the website an up-to-date look and feel.

The Dell Farms

The Dell Farm is located in Murillo, Ontario and offers a whole variety of services. From sleigh rides to parties and from horse boarding to farrier services. The web site design was done keeping in mind the many children that have a great time at The Dell Farms.
Lately the Dell has become a vibrant horse lovers community with many activities in and around their new indoor riding arena and their warm-up area: the Cheltenham Station. As a result they needed more space for their latest news, including the "picture of the month". It all got a spot in a wide column right on the home page, which ensures a frequently changing website for return visitors.

Hope CRC

Hope Christian Reformed Church is a church located in Thunder Bay, Ontario and is a vibrant church community with great programs available to anyone interested. The design was focussed on the anchor (the symbol of hope and the logo of Hope CRC), with the blue being a subtle reminder of the sea.
